Winter Local Foods

Our fields are resting under a blanket of snow. We still have kale collards and leeks in the fields.  With the next thaw they will re-emerge with tender spring shoots. Most larger scale farmers don't bother with this crop.  I find it full of flavor and energy.

While we are waiting for the greens of spring, we have lots of local sweet potatoes. Local Garlic roasted and added to any dish is excelent. Polyface grass-fed meats make a hearty winter stew to share with friends.

Did you know we carry locally produced Twin Oaks tofu? This is a really fine product made from organic Soy Beans. You can taste the difference. No more Mori Nu for you.

Don't forget to check out the prepared food. Turkey Soup and Salad is made with local Polyface Turkey. Remember these local foods are seasonal. When all the Turkey is gone we wait for next year's season.

I'm well stocked with the product right now beef that is purley pasture raised and poly face pork, chicken and eggs
