Tomatoes from the Shean farm and...... beets are coming on.
Right now they are tender and small.
Great for roasting with garlic or local Red Onions.
Garlic will come in Tuesday June 24.
Most garlic in stores is from China.
Our first garlic will come from Glen Echo Farm in Harrisonburg.
They will still have tops on if you are interested in making garlic braids.
Stock up for pesto season - good Garlic and Organic Olive Oil for your health and enjoyment.
We also have:
- New Red potatoes and Cucumbers from Suffolk.
- Eggs from Polyface farm
Bacon while it lasts to go with those local tomatoes.
- Goat Cheese from Lovers Retreat farm in Saluda Va.
The Chipotle flavor is a real hit.

Virginia Garden's Community Serving Kitchen (CSK) prepares the most sustainable
foods that are Locally produced. Most items consist of nearly 100% Organic
ingredients.

Our store carries an extensive selection of organic
foods and natural health products. We make the effort to obtain
the highest quality, freshest local
produce available. Our organic
produce contains no synthetic pesticides or herbicides. All of
our packaged foods are minimally processed and free of artificial
additives.
We sell organic
eggs, milk, cheese, chicken, and meats. Virginia Garden is the exclusive retailer of Polyface meats that were featured in the magazine section of the Virginian Pilot
and the popular book Omnivores Dilemna. I'm well stocked with the product right now beef that is purley pasture raised and poly face pork, chicken and eggs
Our refrigerators contain
a variety of frozen dairy and non dairy desserts,
wheat and gluten-free foods, and vegetarian
entrees.
We carry a select line of natural health and
beauty aids and supplements to further enhance your well being.
